In the beginning of 1966 the Hotel alla Posta is completely renewed and ready for its 100 years old celebration.

However, on November 4th 1966 there is a disastrous flood which provokes major damage to the structure. Only after months the bar and restaurant re-open, while the rooms are forced to wait until the following summer.

During 1968 Baldassare Pra passes away, following his death, his two sons: Floriano e Franco who already assisted their father for several years, take over the hotel’s operation.
